Acknowledgement of territory

ACPA is based out of Dalhousie, which resides on Mi’kma’ki, unceded lands of the Mi'kmaq People. The Mi'kmaq People have protected and stewarded the waters and coastal resources here since time immemorial. The Organizing Committee supports nation-to-nation governance that respects the Treaties of Peace and Friendship.
